Terminating EC2

  1. Run */ec2/uw-ec2.py -n <num-slaves> terminate on your local machine. This terminates (deletes) all instances and EBS storage of that particular cluster. (See also: Starting, Stopping, Terminating)

  2. If the master's EBS volume is not automatically deleted (e.g., due to --persist-master-vol), go to Volumes and delete it manually. The volume can be found by searching for the master's name (e.g., cw0):
