Frozen Joy

Maurice HT Ling edited this page May 11, 2025 · 1 revision

A swirl of cream in paper cup
No pomp no glass no silver sup
The first cold kiss both tart and sweet
A summer’s echo is both soft and fleet
Beneath the spoon the swirl unwinds
Like quiet peace the spirit finds
Toppings rise like childhood dreams
Choco sauce and mango gleams
No rituals no sacred rite
Just frozen calm in neon light
Each bite a pause from weight and will
A gentle nudge
Be here be still
