Using
zulu var add --private test 1saves the variable in~/.config/zulu/env.private, rather than the default~/.config/zulu/env.This is useful when the contents of
~/.config/zuluare stored in version control, allowing non-secret values to be stored in the repository, whilst private values are ignored.Add
