storage_fix8a - DPC Watchdog Violation with patched NVMe

This issue is for tracking what works and does not work for resolving "unresponsive system" or "DPC Watchdog Violation" errors when using NVMe storage with the fixes from storage_fix8*.zip applied.

• Do not use this issue for problems with SATA drives.
• Do not use this issue if you are not using stornvme.sys from storage_fix8*.zip.

If you have successfully installed the drivers from storage_fix8*.zip, they are mostly working, but you get occasional hangs or DPC watchdog violations under heavy load, please report that feedback in this issue:

• Describe your problems and when they occur.
• If you have any workarounds or anything you did that helped improve NVMe behavior, please share.

The README.md file in storage_fix8*.zip describes some things to try. We need feedback on what solutions work and what solutions don't work. Please share your experience in this issue.
