The ExportTools 4 Plex plugin is NO longer in development. Please try WebTools-NG, a standalone program that runs on any PC/Laptop. Visit the WebTools-NG Wiki for full details.
Use the Unsupported AppStore V2 for Plex which is an integral part of WebTools to install the ExportTools plugin.
If you want/need to install ExportTools manually, follow these steps:
- Download ExportTools here or Download WebTools here
- Extract all files from the zip file
- Copy the extracted files to the Plug-ins directory
- Make sure the directory is named ExportTools.bundle (NOT ExportTools.bundle-master)
- Make sure the ExportTools.bundle directory contains a directory named "Contents". If not, then you might be one directory too high!
- If running Linux or Mac OS X, also make sure that the user running Plex Media Server has the correct permissions to the ExportTools.bundle output directory.
Your Plug-ins folder should look something like this after manually installing ExportTools.
YUN = Your User Name.
Note: If you are using Plex Webclient version 3.104.1 or above, then see Important Notice
This plugin is in no way associated with Plex Inc.. It's merely a humble plugin, trying to improve on perfection. Use of this plugin is at your own risk, no responsibility is taken from either Plex Inc.. or the developers of this plugin
Note: This project is no longer being developed. Please see the WebTools-NG Wiki
