Could we please have a new release of tracing-subscriber ?

Motivation

PR #3033 finally makes it possible to remove transitive dependencies on old crates like regex-automata.

Proposal

Simply publish a new release.

Alternatives

Depending on a git revision isn't a good option for my crate, because then I can't publish an official release.

It's being done, you can track #3282. It just needs a little bit more time.
