Hello! I'm Tim.

I work on privacy-and-ethics respecting LLMs and runtimes in an effort to advance the state of assistive AI use for disabilities and cognitive assistance tech for brain trauma survivors. I'm currently also in both categories.

Previously, I worked for Stack Overflow, Deno, Swimm and some other tech firms you might have heard of.

My work helps show the good parts of AI, and I'm fiercly critical of the state of the industry. I like being able to show the good parts of what the industry can bring to the table to ordinary people currently struggling with daily tasks, and I like to be able to show people how to be independent and self-sufficient with it.

I'm disabled, so not working full-time any longer, which lets me focus my time on open source.

If you're interested in my nerdy takes on life, AI and things in-between, I've got a blog just getting started that you might like.

If you use some of my software and just want to say thanks, please consider buying me a coffee or book. Thanks!

If you're looking for me on social media, I've completely left (as of November 2025).
