According to #278, we should upgrade the build to sbt 1.0, and to sbt-scala-module 2.0. Those changes mean dropping Java 6 support. Seems like a good reason to make a branch for the Scala XML 1.x series, and jump to version 2.0 and make a lot of breaking changes.
