We've started doing upgrades on the RunReveal backend but haven't had a chance to look at upgrading the blob storage integrations in Kawa yet unfortunately. Hopefully we can soon!

Hi @abraithwaite , if you're okay with it, I'd like to contribute to the AWS SDK migration.

We will take a look at it imminently actually. While we'd love to have and welcome external contributions, we've got an internal interface that we'd like to bring into Kawa that supports multiple S3 destination types (S3, cloudflare R2, Azure and GCP destinations) and at the same time upgrades the SDK version to AWS SDK v3.
