We upgrade from Renovate v41 to 42.39.1 (and then to 42.39.4) and getting an error on one specific repository.

Since, it's only happening on one specific repository .. I don't think it's a schema issue, as created_at should never be null.

It will be hard to debug this one.

@jkroepke Could you tell more about this repo? It has a merged Renovate PR but the bot is still checking for closed onboarding PR which means there was issue/problem finding the renovate config file.

It a repository where multiple helm charts/helm values are placed in sub directories. The repository is connected on ArgoCD.

Renovate created 2774 MRs in total on this repository.

The repository contains a renovate.json.

I could identify one MR (created by renovate) which was closed by the renovate bot (not merged) and does not have any commits. It's an empty PR and it doesnt have a create date. I guess the root cause may a wrong data migration from Gitlab side?

Yes, seems a Gitlab migration issue. You can try renaming that PR so renovate doesn't match is the next time around.

Thanks for the quick answer, we set a value for created_at in Gitlab Database directly. Only one specific PR was affected.
