I am Bobby "Bob the Builder" Jackson, an Atmospheric Research Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory. I work with the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Facility on maintaining open source packages for weather radar and black carbon data analyses and developing weather radar products for the scientific community. In addition, I am the lead developer of PyDDA, an easy to use package for multi-Doppler wind retrievals. I also have designed open source workflows for adaptive scanning for Halo Photonics Doppler lidars and processing Halo Photonics Doppler lidar data, with the ultimate goal of developing autonomous laboratories for atmospheric science. Finally, I am in the process of starting a role as Machine Learning Engineer for the ARM Data Quality Office, where I develop and monitor anomaly detection models for detecting data quality issues in ARM time series data.
