color-eyre example sets up screen manually

I've noticed that the color-eyre examples still uses custom functions to setup raw and install panic handlers. Is this intentional for the sake of learning or can we replace this with ratatui::init() and ratatui::restore()?

In general, our thinking about this evolved over time as we learnt more about the tooling, and we added more structured patterns to Ratatui to codify that. The website docs tend to lag the actual docs a bit however, so I'm not surprised to hear that there's places it's a bit out of date. Once we release the next version of Ratatui (0.30), we do need to do a good pass on the docs to fix up this sort of thing.

ratatui::init() and restore() do the right thing for a vast majority of apps. You still need to call color_eyre::install()? at the beginning of your app, the panic handlers we install in init() are purely about ensuring that the terminal leaves raw mode and the alternate screen properly.

In 0.30, we introduce ratatui::run(), give the alpha a whirl perhaps if you're writing a new app. It's unlikely that anything big will change before we release as we're aiming for early August.
