overlay covers text input area

Describe the bug
When enter text area the keyboard places a black overlay over the text area, have to use 80% keyboard size or less to have an open are for text inpute

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error

Expected behavior
no overlay
