Otel profiling signal is now working in otel collector: https://opentelemetry.io/blog/2024/state-profiling/

Is there any support plan for this? If not, I will try to implement this

Hey thanks for mentioning this. I think ClickHouse would support this type of data well. I'm updating some things related to logs/traces now, but feel free to write an implementation yourself if you want!

I've built a prototype extending the ClickHouse exporter to handle profiling data main...CUHK-SE-Group:opentelemetry-collector-contrib:clickhouse-profile
While the current implementation is functionally operational, I've identified two key areas needing attention.

• performance(too many insert times)
• and schema (I haven't verified if the current model meets the query requirements)

Would you be open to reviewing this WIP implementation through a Draft PR? This could help us:

• Avoid duplicate efforts
• Share context on the performance bottlenecks I encountered
• Collaborate on schema design decisions
