Problems with Visual Studio 2017

Windows 10 Home Single Language Version
64 Bits
Hard Disk: 1 TB (1024 GB)

I3 6006U @2.00 GHZ @1.99 GHZ

My Problem:

Hi, I was installing Node.js, the installation was normal, until visualstudio2017-workload-vctools arrived, it installed infinitely, I stayed on the computer but it never went down, please correct this

It's not exactly clear to me what you're referring to. Can you post a screenshot or something that'll help us understand?

The problem, as i have it as well, is this: The installation proceeds normally when installing NodeJs Current Version (12,8.0) - right up until "Installing Visualstudio2017-workload-vctools..." where the installer will hang indefinitely without making any progress.

I just had the same problem, checked the Task Manager and saw that the installer was downloading something. After about 25min of downloading with 30-40mbit/s it stopped and used the disk for another 5 minutes and then the installer was finished and told me to restart.
So a download progress bar would be amazing ;)

Not apparent that this is still an issue and there's been no further reproduction. Closing but can reopen if it's still an issue
