misc_bsp interactions / parameters?

Can entities from different misc_bsp interact? Are targetnames namespaced? If not, would it be useful if they could? Having independent (namespaced) instances of a bsp would be particularly useful if you could pass in extra parameters. Maybe add a new entity for accessing the `parmN` properties of the misc_bsp that instantiated it to pass in data?
