If you link Microsoft account with your local account and login to your device, activate Windows 11 Pro using HWID script and reboot, if you change your hardware/device and use activation troubleshoot to activate the same edition of Windows you've used on another device with the same Microsoft account, will digital license be transfered to that new device or activation will not detect device that was activated via HWID and linked to Microsoft account by linking it to local account on the machine where HWID activation by script was applied after linking microsoft account to local account (logon migration). |

Good so it may work based on how HWID works and communicates with Microsoft servers but it can happen that it may not always work - maybe because Microsoft can detect that this kind of activation transfer and can block it if windows license wasn't purchased by Microsoft store or other official sources for the specific Microsoft account. |

@joeyoropesa-dev No, that's not the reason why it may not work, license transfer is just generally not reliable. License purchased or used script, it doesn't matter. |

Btw, if multiple editions of Windows has been activated via HWID to the same serial number/hardware ID and was linked to Microsoft account would this also in theory allows different edition of windows that was activated via HWID to be reactivated in this way (relogin via Microsoft account and using activation troubleshoot to select device that was used to activate specific version of Windows for the activation to be completed) Maybe even switching editions in some cases to the same device (Windows clean installation via USB/CD) and being automatically/manually activated by Microsoft account (HWID activation) |

License transfer is not reliable; it doesn't matter if you activated multiple editions or bought the store license. It's just not reliable. The end. |

Digital license transfer is not reliable; it theoretically works, but practically doesn't very often.
I would suggest not relying on it; just run the script again if you need to.
