Empty Gradle template for Kotlin based projects

This is a completely empty (no Kotlin code) Gradle project template for Kotlin, Kotlin multiplatform and Android. It only contains Gradle configuration with Gradle Kotlin DSL and includes the following features:

• shared version catalogue for libraries in default gradle/libs.versions.toml.
• separate configuration files for library repositories and plugin repositories.
• typesafe project accessors enabled.
• stable configuration cache enabled.
• sample starter modules for:
  • plain kotlin library
  • kotlin multiplatform library
  • kotlin Android library
  • kotlin Android app
• buildSrc folder for shared Gradle functions and tasks.
• basic GitHub Actions workflow to run 'Build' tasks
• simple renovate configuration

You may want to use this template when you need just Gradle setup and don't want to remove all the empty classes, resource files or rename packages.

How to use this template

Run setup.sh and enter your project name to do the following:

• change rootProject.name in settings.gradle.kts to your name.
• remove license file and license info in this README or update copyright info with your git username.
• replace README content with your project title.
• decide what sample modules you'd want to keep or remove them all completely.
