draw a picture from the internals documentation

In PR #155 there is a useful writeup of how attic works. It might be useful to create some big picture from this, how it all works together.

Preferably a format should be used that can easily get updated in case something changes (see all the other PRs).

I would recommend SVGs for this: you get the source for free. After years of fighting with Dia, I finally gave up and use Inkscape now, which supports snapping and routing between objects now.

Also, browsers can show SVG directly and it's scalable. +1 for SVG from me (I likely won't work on this though, rather hack the code. :)
