Rolling Up to Junction Object Parent

I'm attempting to rollup the LAST event ActivityDate to Contact through the EventRelation junction object. I'm attempting to use the Grandparent advanced options but am struggling to know if I'm setting up the config correctly or if I'm running into a limitation with the RelationId field on EventRelations. Config below:

I will have a look at this, but first impressions:

• your Child Object (text) should be Event
• your Rollup Field for the Child shouldn't use dot notation because you're starting from Event: just use the API name for the field

I think your grandparent field and one-to-many field are set up correctly, but I'm on mobile at the moment so I can't check that 100%.

Thanks for the response @jamessimone! As you suggested, I removed the dot notation and made the Child Object Event. Any recommendation on what the child lookup field should be in this case where I'm going from Event down to EventRelation then up to Contacts? I tried Id but no cigar.

@Dustin-Northcutt so sorry, this fell through the cracks. This is what your CMDT record should look like:

• Grandparent relationship field path: EventRelations.Relation.Last_Meeting_Date__c
• One to many grandparent fields: EventRelation.EventId
