It appears there is an issue with the Excel preview in the knowledge base.

Excel preview in the RAGFlow knowledge base currently has significant limitations. Only PDF files and images are fully supported for preview; Excel files often result in a blank page or only show sheet names without actual content, which is a known product limitation (source, source).

Recent updates have improved Excel file parsing and preview robustness, including fixes for truncated files and better error handling (source, source), but the preview is still limited to displaying tabular data as HTML tables without original formatting.
