Post-processing shaders don't get applied in the software renderer #12445

LunaMoo pointed this out in connection to my Darkstalkers work, #12443.

There's no reason this couldn't be made to work, except that it requires a bit of plumbing.

In addition, things like Cardboard don't work either.

The software and hardware renderers should share more presentation code, which would solve all this.
