Hi team,

I am getting the same warning notification sometimes when I delete a folder and the folder is not getting deleted from fileSystem.

I wrote a plugin, this plugin watches the file and opens a new workspace if onDidChange event triggers. Everything is working fine but sometimes, I get the same warning notification and the new workspace is not getting opened.

One out of 20 attempts I get this issue, but in gitpod it's working fine all the time.

What might be the gitpod's approach in solving this issue?

I too got the same issue. In my app, file watcher is the key one. I am using theia plugin to watch the files. But sometimes I get this warning and file watcher is not working. Is there any solution that could help me?

I don't know the exact cause, but if you are running Theia on a Linux system you could try to increase the OS inotify limit.
