Description
I am using cage 0.2.0 for a kiosk application and I use wlr-randr to transform the layout of the display for rotation.
If the HDMI cable is disconnected cage continues to run but when the HDMI cable is reconnected the cage display comes back but the rotation reverts to the "normal" layout.
With some LG TVs a power cycle looks like a cable disconnect and reconnect and also results in resetting the transform setting.
Is there any way to detect the HDMI connection state from stdout or stderr messages from the cage process so the layout can be re-transformed with wlr-randr on reconnect?
