Is collapse still an issue with Bootstrap 3?

Cloned the project branch, grunt it but unable to use collapse as expected in the demo.
Updated plunker reflecting the problem.

Is this still an issue? I may be wrong but I referred this pull request fixing this issue.

#1001 provides a working implementation of collapse (mostly), I don't have much time to work on this patch for the time being, but if you want to take a stab at improving it and cleaning it up so it is mergeable, more power to you
