Password Change

Hello! How does the password change feature work? It does not seem like the email to reset is being sent.

You'll need to configure SMTP here:

Then restart the server for the changes to take effect.

If you have the necessary permissions, you can also set a new password for any agent by navigating to:
Admin → Teammates → Agents → Edit, and updating the password in the form.

Hi! Thank you for your response.

It looks like notifications are being sent to my account; however, the password reset process doesn't seem to be working. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

The password reset link expires after 24 hours, I think the email doesn't mention that I will add it there.

Seems like we did not understand each other. I am getting the basic notification emails however I am not getting the reset one. Any idea what might be causing that?

Anything in logs? I just tested and it works.

Make sure an agent exists for that email and agent is enabled. Even if there's no agent with that email or agent is not enabled, Libredesk still says the reset email was sent to stop people from guessing which emails are valid.
