Yeah, it's been communicated in discord the whole way through... we don't really post general news on github...

And what about those who aren't on Discord with you? It would be nice if there was another way to find out what's going on with the site! Is it down, will it be back up again?

no, we've pretty thoroughly communicated that service vs code are distinct, and the service i'm providing of the website being up and the backing API are both communicated on discord, as it's more real-time. the website is available for anyone to self-host as they desire and point to a different instance of the api that would be working. the service issue is that DE has made the data unavailable to our api.

For those who don't want to join this dude's discord: the website got its data from a proxy that cached the worldstate data, and DE banned this proxy. I guess the discussion about monetizing the use of this proxy for other services also contributed to the ban.
