The VideoAmp CLI is provided to streamline integration with APIs. This tool may be used to automate workflows, configurations and more. Detailed API specs can be found at https://docs.videoamp.dev.
The CLI binary now features an MCP server that allows AI Chatbots, like Copilot and Claude, to interact with the CLI & VideoAmp APIs.
Create a Codespace in the current repo.
From the codespace created in 1.) open file .vscode/mcp.json & click Start above the "VideoAmp" server.
In the Copilot prompt select mode Agent. Note: It may be defaulted to Ask. Choose model Claude Sonnet 4 or higher.
In the Copilot prompt enter Show me example questions to ask VideoAmp.
