When running from application launcher in linux, terminal does not show

If gnome-terminal is already open, and I start remote touchpad, a new terminal window with QR-code does not appear.

I can't reproduce this in Gnome. What application launcher are you using? In the .desktop file Terminal=true is specified, it should launch in a terminal window.

I know that launching directly from Gnome Software doesn't work, because it doesn't use the desktop file.
