Feature request: option to disable automatic insertion for lists

This is totally just an ergonomics thing, but I would love to be able to disable automatic insertion for bulleted or numbered lists. I move list items around a lot via copy-paste and thus have to delete the extra bullet every time. And truth be told, I prefer not to have automatic insertion even on original entry.
