Awesome idea! It would survive as it's own module quite well. The code for implementing something like this actually should be quite simple. Check out a popular implementation in javascript here:

It shouldn't be too bad to port the ejs.js to PowerShell since it's just filesystem, strings, and regex there won't be any external dependencies we're missing.

I think it would be cleaner once the pure PowerShell PR goes through to add it to the reponse as a $response.render like express-js that automatically looks in the views folder and we could list EPS as a dependency.
