How can I put the whole application to the subfolder (eg http://mysite.com/app/) and use HTML5 routing instead of hash routing?

Currently it's set up to use the HashLocationStrategy simply change it to PathLocationStrategy during the angular2 bootstrap() process.

Change this line in provider.ts

Change it to: (make sure you import it from 'angular2/router' as well)

provide(LocationStrategy, { useClass: PathLocationStrategy })

Thank you. About putting application in the subfolder I found the solution:

1. change balseUrl:'/app/' in webpack.common.js
2. add '/app/' to the links in index.html
