Godot add-on: UX: design a wizard or a piece of UI for first install experience #107
Description
To make the add-on more accessible, on install, the add-on could check if there are already non-default settings or not in the user's editor settings.
A wizard (one-time pop-up window) could then:
- Point users to the documentation
- Outline the most important settings to get started with clear labels and tooltips (typically some people will want to toggle auto saves or auto updates)
- If no up to date gdscript formatter is detected on the user PATH, offer to install with the click of a button
If there's anything else you think would be important to include in there, suggestions are welcome.
