Equipment used: Manjaro Linux / Lenovo T440 laptop

Using Gramps 5.2.4 with a new database, attempting to import the downloaded GEDCOM file gave the following error, and did not import the GEDCOM:

Error reading GEDCOM file - Gramps
Your GEDCOM file is corrupted. It appears to have been truncated.

[The import could not proceed further and was not successful]

Using Legacy 9.0 Standard Edition 9.0.0.414 with a new database attempting to import the downloaded GEDCOM file gave the following sequence of errors:

Need to review our GEDCOM output, while accepting that there may be variations in GEDCOM support/implementation out there which mean that there will always be providers who are not happy with what we generate.

Your GEDCOM lacks a '0 TRLR' line at the end. Which version did you use to test it? Using test3 I get a trailer output.

I've now used Test 3 and got this:

So it uploaded fine.
Out of 31 results, 20 records were added to Gramps.
Yet 21 errors were detected 😕

I think that's just Gramps grumping about the blank lines in the GEDCOM file. Do we want to keep these? I find them helpful, myself. Maybe check with the spec ...

Blank lines now removed; @Vino-S will update test3.

Test3 gives the red "something went wrong" message when I attempt to generate a GEDCOM download. This doesn't happen on my local test setup. Also, it only happens when I do a Jane Partington search (1837-1850; 55 hits). @Vino-S has successfully downloaded a GEDCOM file from test3, and it doesn't contain blank lines.
