Questions about the serial protocol

Thank you for all your work @EliasKotlyar .
I wonder how deeply you have tinkered around with the serial protocol.
Have you tried to send commands and had seen effects on the MCC ?

That would be highly interesting to allow more fine-grained automation, creating new program types or cloneing the ones of MC Smart such as egg cooking, fermenting etc ..

Already a simple app with which the user could steer the main parameters (motor strength, heat, motor patterns) with some kind of graph could allow this more or less I think.
Just wondering '^^
( I'm not sure if the new app would have enough rights to use the serial interface or if the native app has some 'hard coded' special rights or so .. hm )
