followed instruction:

wsl -d boinc-buda-runner
resulted in:

According to this:
microsoft/WSL#8693
you can try

• go to 'Turn Windows features on/off'
• turn Virtual Machine Platform and Windows Hypervisor Platform off and on
• reboot

Please report if this works.

@Ag2000CO, try this installer: https://github.com/BOINC/boinc-buda-runner-wsl-installer/releases/download/v1.0.0/boinc-buda-runner-wsl-installer.exe
It's currently in the alpha testing, so your feedback will be highly appreciated.
Once done and tested - it will be a part of the BOINC client/manager installer.
