Summary of Changes

Hello @chandrasekhar1996, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request implements a crucial fix to prevent the loss of domain contact information when an individual contact (like a product owner or security owner) is updated without a full page refresh. By introducing a new helper method, the system now intelligently merges existing contacts with the newly updated ones, ensuring that all contact types are preserved during the update process. This enhances data integrity and provides a smoother user experience.

Highlights

  • New Helper Method: Introduced a new getCurrentContacts method within the DomainDetails component to centralize the logic for retrieving and preparing domain contact information.
  • Contact Preservation Logic: The getCurrentContacts method now ensures that all existing domain contacts are preserved by starting with the current domainDetails.contacts and then selectively updating product-owner and security-owner based on the component's state, preventing unintended data loss.
  • Updated Contact Prop: The contacts prop passed to the contact update sub-component has been updated to use the new getCurrentContacts method, ensuring that the component always receives a complete and correctly merged list of contacts.

Code Review

This pull request aims to fix an issue where updating a domain contact would clear other contact types until the page is reloaded. The introduction of the getCurrentContacts method is a good approach to merge existing contacts with those updated in the UI. However, there is a critical issue in its implementation that could lead to a runtime crash. My review includes a comment with a suggested fix to prevent this.
