"DDC/CI not supported" in latest version, but works in v1.13.9 (with 50% brightness issue)

Issue Description:
When using the latest version of the software, one of my monitors shows a message saying that DDC/CI is not supported, and I cannot adjust its brightness. However, when I switch to version 1.13.9, the monitor works correctly, and I can control the brightness as expected.

Additional behavior (in v1.13.9):
Every time I open version 1.13.9, it automatically sets the monitor brightness to 50%, which is not the desired behavior.
