static export forced to render before css finishes loading

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with my static export of a website I created in Webstudio. Every time I click on a sub page, I can briefly see a messed up version of the layout before it loads correctly. I have tried preloading the css and many other things, but I couldn't fix it so far. Firefox developer tools say something along the lines of the website forcibly being rendered before the css can finish loading:

Layout-Darstellung wurde erzwungen, bevor die Seite vollständig geladen war. Falls Stylesheet noch nicht geladen sind, kann dies zu einem kurzzeitigen Darstellung des Inhalts ohne Formatierung führen.

Interestingly, it doesn't happen when the website is hosted by Webstudio. The issue only persists on GitHub Pages. I happens in both Firefox and Chrome. Here you can compare the two (click the sidebar links):

In earlier stages, I hadn't had this issue. As far as I can tell and remember, I have only changed some styling. Does anyone have some suggestions/pointers? I have been looking into it for a few hours now, to no avail. I'm thankful any leads :)
