Email me, or post system logcat dump here after removing any private info. |
Hey. I emailed you the logs. While reading logs myself i realized that it was Termux GUI app causing the crash this whole time. Uninstalling it solved the issue. While idk specifics about the error, but i guess this issue has no longer to do anything with termux app. |
Thanks for the logs. Seems like the crash is coming from the Android framework failing to find
|
I sent you logcat after a restart. i for one didn't find relevant errors or anything even referencing Edit: tbh, i have no knowledge on this matter, so i'll let you be the judge of what's happening here |
Yeah, no crashes for now in log, report if they do. You should be able to reinstall Termux:GUI if you need it. |
I think i got gui cuz i was curious. but i have no need for it. thanks for your time tho. the page explaining how to get logs helped, and now that i realize, i have other uses for it :) |
Glad it helped, thanks! |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
Problem description
The issue I'm facing is basically:
exit
I wish I could give you more information on this, but the app becomes absolutely inaccessible and crashes constantly.
If there's any method I could for more detail, please do enlighten me here.
Steps to reproduce the behavior.
exit
on the last active sessionWhat is the expected behavior?
I would assume it should start up back again. I have another device I use termux on as well, and it doesn't face any such issue. I purchased this device about 10 months ago and have had the issue since then and I stopped using termux as I had the other device. But I don't wanna carry 2 phones on me all the time.
