[Bug]: Unable to Type in Termux with Microsoft SwiftKey

Problem description

I am experiencing a typing issue in Termux when using Microsoft SwiftKey. When I type, the text does not appear on the screen. However, when I press the spacebar, unexpected characters or words appear instead of what I originally typed. This issue makes Termux unusable with SwiftKey.

Additional Notes:

This issue only occurs with Microsoft SwiftKey. Other keyboards (such as Gboard) work fine in Termux.

Steps to reproduce the behavior.

1. Open Termux.

2. Try typing anything using Microsoft SwiftKey.

3. Observe that the text does not appear.

4. Press the spacebar.

5. Unexpected characters or words appear instead of the typed text.

What is the expected behavior?

The typed text should appear immediately without modification.

System information

Device Model: Poco X4 Pro

Android Version: 13

SwiftKey Version: 9.10.56.16

Termux Version: 0.119.0 beta1

This issue only occurs with Microsoft SwiftKey. Other keyboards (such as Gboard) work fine in Termux.

(And, really, whatever is the actual issue, we shouldn't have to consider Microsoft-anything - anyway. 🙂)
