Jagged text in Visual Studio 2022 (17.14)

I've just tested the font in both Visual Studio and VSCode. The result looks strikingly different at the same visual size.

Note: The font size numbers are different, but they result in the same visual size between the 2 softwares.

The font renderers are different between VS and VSCode. In your case, maybe you should try the hinted version.

Thanks. I've switched from variable version to hinted version and doesn't perceive this issue anymore. However, the rendered text in VS looks somewhat different compared to VSCode, in a sad way. VS rendering engine should be the culprit.

I have to switch back to Cascadia Code though. Somehow it does look really well in VS.
