A font that is similar to Consolas?

Great job on Maple Mono.

It seems there two different shape styles:

1. Tall. Height is larger than width (JetBrains Mono, Maple Mono).
2. Square. Height is similar to width (Consolas, Cascadia).

Consolas is actually a very good coding font, but lacks some features - mainly missing different weights. Is it possible to create a font whose character shape is more square? Or even just a "fatter" Maple Mono?

Maple Mono is based on the JetBrains Mono, so there will be plenty of works to design every glyph. Currently I have no plan on it.
