Duplicate assets in Asset view, but not on explorer

Hello, friends!

I am having a strange issue that has sprung all of a sudden, and I am not sure if it is from any wrong-doings on my part and it's happening for a while now.
Every time I close my Editor, version 4.2.0.2381, and open it, the whole assets get duplicated, like in the image below.

After closing the editor and reopening it, here they go again:

I m making a silly Galaxian kind of thing, but I don't think that the assets are the culprits:

Notes:
Strangely, my "bogy" entity doesn't get duplicated.
My project, if I close it immediately, it asks to be saved, even though there were no changes made (but the duplicates appear)

Any ideas?

Also, I can't find any Stride logs. Are there any?
