Hi guys,
I'm about to purchase Behringer X-Touch Mini for use with my Lightroom Classic 10 using MIDI2LR 4.3.1.11.
But before I do that have two quick questions I couldn't find answer to.
I have some kind of undiagnosed OCD. Nothing life disturbing, just some quirks I have to adjust to in order to feel some comfort.
I want to use adjustment knobs on X-Touch Mini with basic LR sliders (temp, exposure, contrast, hightlights, etc).
When using a mouse in LR, instead of dragging a slider, I can drag a number value next to it, and that makes new values snap to configured adjustment steps. You know, starting with 6500K temp I can drag a mouse left to get 6450K, 6400K, 6350K and so on.
I want my adjustment knobs to work the same way, to modify values by 50 (when it comes to temp) or 0.10 (when it comes to exposure).
I'd also like knobs to adjust "non stepped" sliders, like contrast and highlights by increments of 2 or 5.
Is this possible with MIDI2LR and X-Touch mini?
I've searched documentation, watched a bunch of YouTube videos, my question remains unanswered. Every YT video talking about MINI2LR & X-Touch mini shows that knobs are modifying values by 1 or 0.01, and everytime I watch develop settings being left at temps like 6243K, or exposures like 0.79 or some mumbo jumbo like this, I'm certain I won't be able to accept this when it comes to my workflow.
Second question - mechanically, knobs in X-Touch mini are not stepped and not clicking, do not have beginning/center/end position, those are spinning smoothly and endlessly without steps, right, or did I miss something?
Is there a way to adjust sensitivity in MIDI2LR, as in how much should I turn a knob to achive the same adjustment?
