if SDP only with m=application, is miss a=mid acceptable??

Hi, Dear Code Officer

In my use case, only use pion to handle m=application data channel, why mid is force exists?

Based on my understanding, mid mated with session part group bundle, and mainly used for RTPTransceiver which represents a combination of an RTPSender and an RTPReceiver that share a common mid.

mid for application data, it seems useless?
Is it possible allow no mid and no bundle for application media only case??
