zopen used space report

Occasionally I will get an out of space doing a zopen install or zopen upgrade - being able to have zopen report how much space is being used by zopen and ideally by what would be helpful. That would also allow a zopen clean to be performed and then confirmed. Without this information I have had to create a new zfs and start clean with zopen.

Makes sense and not "too" hard to implement.
Would you think a new verb, or add it to "info", "config", "clean", ...? Thinking something like zopen <verb> --useage

having a separate verb would seem reasonable - perhaps zopen usage

I think it would also be beneficial is the report is sorted with the tools consuming the most amount of disk at the top.

I often use ncdu for this, although I do like the idea of providing a zopen usage type of command.

I crash into space issues sometimes too. Usually it’s because of too many old versions or an ever growing cache. Igor showed me how to prune things a few months ago, and my space woes were resolved for the time being.

We will eventually need a transaction report like Debian has before performing a package operation. It’s very handy to see how your disk space will change before you do things!

With the latest zopen, there is a "usage" verb - a first pass at some disk usage stats.
