It used to work with CSS, but it was removed in Gtk 3.19 |

The name sounds intriguing, so please forgive my ignorance. What is a "striped filelelist"? I tried DuckDuckGo-ing the term, and what I got back was this page, plus information about an application that reads credit cards. The attached image doesn't seem any different from the Nemo list view, to me. So obviously I'm missing something. Thanks in advance. |

The striped background in listview on Finder is a visual aid to easily differentiate between rows and improve readability. It's a default setting that alternates between white and light gray (or black and gray in dark mode). |

It is no longer possible in GTK3, you have to wait until nemo becomes a GTK4 app one day. |
