thicker window borders

When using the mouse to resize a window, I have to be very careful to catch the window border, which is only 1-2 pixels thick. If I use the "Menu>Windows>Behavior>Draggable border width", it creates an invisible drag area around the window. This is a problem because I might need to use the mouse on something just outside a window's edge, especially when using "Always on top".
My request is that, instead of creating an invisible drag area outside the window border, allow for the window border itself to be thickened. That way, I can grab it easily, and still be able to use the mouse on things right on the outside edge of the window border.
