Over the years I have forked about a dozen repos I found very useful. I just forked a gist. But the thought just occurred to me that maybe those repos or gists might go away, for some reason. I think my forked copy would remain, although that might not be true. (Do forks of repos or gists remain, but am I wrong?)
Anyway, assuming that my forked repo/gist does remain, should I do something about the parent having disappeared?
